- Meetings with community and religious leaders, particularly in the Palestinian territories.
- Meeting with Israeli peace-activists, and both Palestinian and Israeli organisations working for peace and reconciliation.
- Tours of Israeli settlements and Palestinian refugee camps.
- Visits to Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron, Ramallah, Jericho, Nazareth, Galilee
- Visits to Christian-run projects in the Palestinian territories.
- Worshipping with local Christian congregations.
A BRIEF ENCOUNTER WITH PEOPLE OF FAITH IN EGYPT.

- Visiting the work of the Anglican Church in Cairo, particularly amongst Sudanese refugees. Meeting with Bishop Mouneer
- Meeting with Coptic Orthodox Christians and Pope Shenouda III, and a Visit to the Coptic Quarter of Cairo.
- Visit to the Citadel, the Al Azhar Mosque and meeting with the Grand Mufti.
- A visit to St. Anthony’s Monastery in the Eastern Desert, and a night’s stay at St. Paul’s monastery nearby.
- Finally a visit to St. Catherine’s Monastery in Sinai and overnight at the monastery.
ANCIENT CIVILISATIONS & CHRISTIAN COMMUNITIES IN SYRIA AND LEBANON

- Visits to Damascus, Maaloula, Crac des Chevaliers, Aleppo,
- Meetings with Greek Orthodox and Syrian Orthodox Patriarchs
- Visits to ancient monasteries and living monastic communities
- Visits to ancient churches and historic sites in Syria and Lebanon, including Palmyra and Baalbek
- Meetings with Christian communities in the Diocese of Jazireh and the Euphrates in the Euphrates Valley in NE Syria.
- Meeting with the Grand Mufti of Syria
